Annie is a doctor who have to try a new drug with anesthetic effect. Angel is a voluntary for the experiment. Annie wraps Angel with a bed sheet, to prevent her escape during the experiment.

Annie takes a white cloth, wich is soaked with the substance. She puts the cloth over Angel's mouth and nose and keeps it for long time. When she removes the cloth, she asks Angel her feelings. Angel tells her that the substance has not a strong pungent odour like chloroform and she can bear it without problems.

The doctor puts the cloth over Angel's mouth again, to test the time she can resist before passing out. Angel stays asleep for different minutes, then she faints.

Annie has to try another singular substance. It needs to awake people faster. She poured it in the blue cloth. She puts the cloth over Angel's mouth and nose, while she is sleeping. The substance takes almost four minutes to awake the voluntary. Now Angel can describe her experience to the doctor.
